Recovery and Rebuilding After Sandy

For many, the devastation of Hurricane Sandy is still with them.  NY/NJ Baykeeper is currently working with a coalition of conservation, housing and arts advocates to ensure forward-looking decisions and policies are being implemented post-Sandy.  We cannot simply rebuild stronger, we need to rebuild smarter and invest in our communities and infrastructure in line with what long-term planning, sea level rise and climate change science tells us.
